The research team is composed of around 15 researchers. Within our group we have two doctors and three people doing their thesis. We also contribute to the formation of new researchers including students in their final year career collaborating in the development of research projects.

Biography
Mª Luz Guenaga is responsible of the DeustoTech Learning research unit at Deusto Foundation. Lecturer at Engineering Faculty at the University of Deusto (Bilbao, Spain) since 1998. She obtained her PhD in 2007 with the thesis "Integral Accessibility of Digital Resource Centers for People with Visual Disability". Her research interests are innovative use of technology in education, instructional design, quality assessment of learning technology and content, usability and accessibility, and integration of audiovisual resources in education.
Dr. Javier García-Zubia

Biography
Javier García-Zubia is professor at Engineering Faculty at the University of Deusto (Bilbao, Spain) since 1989. He obtained his PhD in 1996 with the thesis "Camp-DEUSTO computational method for simplifying boolean functions. Development and implementation". He is Proyect Manager of the WebLab-Deusto Research Group and his research interests are Remote Laboratories and social digital books.

Andoni Eguíluz, professor at Engineering Faculty at the University of Deusto (Bilbao, Spain) since 1991. Graduate in Computer Science Engineering, best year's record (UD), 1991. Fellow of the Advanced Study Program of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT, USA), 1996. He has been director and researcher on a number of software projects regarding accesibility, multimedia, web, graphical 3d interaction, graphical interfaces, compiling environments, compiler generators, etc. Actually working on projects related to technology & audiovisual contents oriented to education, multimedia, audiovisual & web accesibility, technology & innovation.

Biography
Pablo Garaizar is an assistant professor at the University of Deusto's Faculty of Engineering (Bilbao, Spain) since 2003. He works as a researcher at the DeustoTech Learning research unit of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Deusto, and directs projects that explore new ways of using Information and Communication Technologies to enhance learning at Catedra Telefónica-Deusto since 2010. His research interests include Internet based research, Social Network Sites (SNS), web development and associative learning. His work has been published in journals that combine Computer Engineering and Psychology such as Behavior Research Methods.
M.Sc. Olga Dziabenko

Biography
Olga Dziabenko is a project manager and researcher of DeustoTech Learning group. Her research skills and interests include e-courses' architecture and innovative e-learning scenarios, and collaborative learning. Olga has influenced several European projects in frame of Cordis and Lifelong Learning Programme as an coordinator, e-learning researcher, instructional designer, and developer of online learning tools. Olga received M.Sc. in Physics (1987) from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (University), Russia, with specialization in "Physical and Quantum Electronics". The title of her thesis is "Flash photolysis of iodides in the presence of quenching gases in iodine photodissociation laser".

Biography
Alex Rayón Jerez works as lecturer at the Industrial Technologies Department in the Engineering Faculty at Universidad de Deusto (Bilbao, Spain) since 2009. Software Engineer, Industrial Engineer and Grad of Human Resources, is currently writing his thesis "Defining a methodology and a model to make possible SMEs Competitive Intelligence in a structured and systematized way". Alex is also ICT-teaching coordinator within the UTIC of the University of Deusto, besides of working as researcher at DeustoTech Learning, where he covers his research interests (ICT applications in teaching methods, specially, in the context of mobile Learning).

Iratxe Mentxaka has a degree in Pedagogy at the University of Deusto (Bilbao, Spain) since 2005. She is a researcher at DeustoTech Learning at the University of Deusto working on instructional design, educational object evaluation and innovation in the classroom. She has experience as educational consultant, as on-line tutoring and as responsible for the management, programming and evaluation of sociocultural activities.

Alexandre Paz has a M.Sc. in Advanced Artificial Inteligence, is a researcher assistant at DeustoTech Learning at the University of Deusto since 2011 and is currently working on multimedia applications for accessibility and on augmented vision solutions. His main research interest is artificial intelligence applied to enhanced education.

Alex Ortiz de Guinea is a researcher at DeustoTech Learning at the University of Deusto ( Bilbao, Spain ) since 2011. He obtained his computer engineering degree in 2007 at the University of the Basque Country. His main research interests are accesibility and usability in multimedia, games in education and e-learning.

Biography
Susana Romero is a professor and the person in charge of laboratories in the Department of Industrial Technologies at Engineering Faculty at the University of Deusto (Bilbao, Spain) since 1997. She participates, organizes and/or evaluates numerous projects, conferences, contests, training courses and resources for the teaching of the electronics and the microcontrollers. Between them the use of the Microbotic stands out as educational tool. Her publications in books and magazines have turned on the electronics from an educational point of view. She collaborates with DeustoTech Learning research unit of the Deusto Foundation in educational projects.

Pablo Orduña is a Research Associate at the MoreLab Research Group at DeustoTech - Deusto Institute of Technology, where he works since 2007. He finished his studies of Computer Engineering in 2007 at the University of Deusto. Currently he is a PhD student (focused in Remote Laboratories), working also in the WebLab-Deusto Research Group since October 2004.

Biography
Graduated in Computer Engineering at the University of Deusto in 1997. Founding partner of the company "Ingeniería de Microsistemas Programados SL" dedicated to the design and manufacture of development systems based on microprocessors. Since October 2002 is working at the University of Deusto, where he teaches courses integrated in the Department of Industrial Technologies. He is currently studying PhD inside the Remote Laboratories Research Line. He has participated in projects in the area of ITS and remote control and tele-maintenance. He has also collaborated in writing 6 books focusing on the design of microcontroller-based systems published by McGraw Hill or Thomson Learning Publishing. In March 2008 he joined Deusto Intitute of Technology within the Mobility research team.

Luis Rodriguez is a researcher intern at the University of Deusto (Bilbao, Spain) since 2009. He is collaborating as a developer for the Weblab-Deusto remote laboratory and his main research interests are remote aboratories.

Biography
Iñigo Iturrate is a research intern at DeustoTech Learning, more specifically in the Weblab-Deusto unit, since 2012. He is currently in his 3rd year of the Industrial Electronics and Automation Degree, which he studies at the University of Deusto. His research interests include remote laboratories, embedded systems and robotics.
