The Energy Unit was born at the end of 2008 as a response to the present and future needs of companies in the energy sector. Nowadays, energy is a (and may be more) scarce good. Hence, it is necessary to lead the R+D e?ort in order to bring progress to the society, companies and protect the environment. Although the Unit is very young it features a very multidisciplinary group as comprises Chemical, Telecommunications, Computing and Industrials Engineers, as well as Graduates in Physical and Mathematics Sciences. Moreover, it has been able to get and successfully develop several projects whose results are starting now to be published.

Deustotech has set the target of achieving excellence in research and set as a strategically of innovation in enterprises, increasing their competitiveness and increasing the diversification of its markets.
