DeustoTech

The DeustoTech-LIFE Research group, from the Engineering Faculty at the University of Deusto, is committed to pursuing its innovative activities in the sphere of health (telehealth and SW tools for diagnosis and treatment) and accessibility. It started over 10m years ago in the field of digital speech processing and is composed of researchers from Deusto Foundation and from the University of Deusto.

We are experts in signal, image and audio processing and we develop algorithms for measuring and helping doctors’ and experts’ decissions. We also have a wide experience in AAL projects, projects that iinvolve the design and development of interactive TV and mobile device integrated solutions for domotics, homecare and nursing home platforms. Moreover, we have a great expertise on interactive communication and wireless technology systems to process biomedical and environmental signals. Examples of the areas of applied knowledge are the OSGI modular framework, Zigbee, X10, Bluetooth, GPS, RFID, 3G, WiFi, etc...
